Travelscene Monbulk was a truly unique piece of work which allowed Purplespace to span all boundaries and work internationally, based on the outskirts of Melbourne in Australia. The site balanced the corporate look and feel of American Express alongside a unique design to stand out from other travel agenices in the area.
Brief
A travel agency based in Australia wanted a website to reflect the corporate branding of American Express but also a unique and friendly look and feel that stood out from the plethora of other travel agency sites.
It needed to include special offers, newsletters and intergrating thrid party tools from American Express.
Solution
The Monbulk Travel website was build with static XHTML, CSS and Javascript, incorporating complex third party applications including online booking facilities, latest global travel news.
The site also includes Google Maps intergration, Flickr feed intergration and useful RSS feeds.
